The recent months I haven’t been writing so much for the PINK MOOSE website. I’ve been concentrating on developing some new skills and doing projects as a subcontractor! Well, and of course enjoying the holidays with the family and our Dutch guests during the holidays.

So what have I been up to?

First of all, developing theoretical and practical mobile design skills in the past few months. People are using more and more mobile web so next to printed material and a website, it’s an important aspect to take into consideration. It has been fun to concentrate on this aspect of design.

Next to that I’ve been busy with designing (websites, social media and printed material) for some very interesting events here in Oulu. One of those is coming up quite soon. It’s a sport and well-being event for families called “Liikukko Nää?” and it’s organized here in Oulu by Oulu Junior Chamber on 21 January. After that follows an event by Brittish storyteller Nick Hennessey, on Thursday 16 February, where the old Kalevala stories will be told in traditional style. Last, but certainly not least, Oulu World Press Photo will be organized from 1.3.-21.3.2012. You can find more information on the website. I’ll add material to my blog after the events are over.

2012 has started in a great way and hoping that the year will continue like this. Still lots of plans that I want to develop with PINK MOOSE design so it’s… back to work!
