A logo recently designed was for Fixui, a spin-off company from Yritystakomo, that wants to make products more usable. They offer a wide range of usability services, including user interface design, usability consulting and research. CEO Eeva Kangas asked to give an easily approachable feeling to the logo with an aspect of fun and bright colors, since FixUi does not want a too big distance to its customers. An interesting aspect concerning the female figure putting her thumb up is that this gesture is known in Finland and many other European countries as good, well done or awesome. However, in certain countries it has other meanings, an interesting read about that you can find here so we decided that for international use the FixUi logo will be used without the female figure.
